
As a licensed massage therapist, I work with people daily who seek relief from muscle imbalances, stiffness, strain, and pain. I recently earned my Assisted Stretching Coach Certification to help my clients address the root cause of these issues and improve overall wellness. By improving flexibility, reducing muscle tension, and enhancing mobility, assisted stretching is a natural complement to my massage therapy and personal fitness coaching services.
Traditional Stretching vs. Assisted Stretching
Most of us have practiced stretching on our own, whether to warm up for or cool down from physical activity, improve flexibility, or promote relaxation. While beneficial, traditional stretching doesn’t provide the results of assisted stretching.

How Assisted Stretching Works
With assisted stretching, I use hands-on techniques to guide your body through controlled movements designed to safely and effectively release tension. The result is a deeper, targeted stretch that can increase joint stability and range of motion, prevent injuries, and promote overall relaxation and well-being. Assisted stretching can also help with rehabilitating muscle strains or injuries.
